Subject	Need Help, I think I blew my transmission. Automatic gurus?

Message	Searching for ideas here before I have it towed to a tranny shop. I have an auto 93TT. I was driving and all of a sudden the car seemed like it shifted into neutral but the shifter was in drive. Didnt hear any noises or anything. I coasted as far as I could and shut the car down. Started it up again and it engaged in Drive but once I got around 1000 rpms it wouldnt go anywhere. The engine freely revd but the car wouldnt move. No smoke, smells, or anything dripping. No dummy lights either. The engine sounds strong but once past 1K rpms it looses gear and goes into what feels like neutral. Anyone got any suggestions.
